Ein Dorf hält den Atem an. Ganz Plattengülle ist auf der Suche nach einem verborgenen Schatz. Ausgerechnet in Friedas ehemaligem Garten soll er zu finden sein. Das vermutet jedenfalls Anneliese, die das Anwesen übernommen hat, und sich Tag und Nacht mit dem Spaten durch die Rabatten gräbt. Derartig absonderliche Verhaltensweisen bleiben den anderen Dorfbewohnern nicht verborgen. Günther, der Treckerfaher glaubt, Anneliese forsche nach einer Güllequelle. Und die könnte er dringend brauchen für seine Biogasanlage. Sein Sohn Erwin hält Oma Frieda für die ewige Übeltäterin, die in ihrem ehemaligen Garten sicher noch mehr Leichen vergraben hat. Frieda selbst weiß einiges über den Schatz, doch längst nicht alles. Mehr darüber weiß ein Rentner, der seit Tagen ums Haus streicht und einen VW Jetta fährt. Und was ist mit Uschi Ciciolka, ahnt sie auch etwas? Reicht die Geschichte des angeblichen Schatzes noch weiter in die Vergangenheit zurück, bis zu einem Datum Anfang 1945? Und um was handelt es sich überhaupt bei dem Brauenen Gold von Plattengülle?
